I personally feel as if social networks such as Twitter and Facebook defiantely help teenagers get better involved in social issues. This gives them a convient way to help, express and share their veiws and even get active.
Good question. We will talk more about the internet and "civic engagement" as the semester progresses. How does the internet change our ability to be informed and get involved? What's the difference between attending a rally in person or sending a quick e-mail to a Congressional representative?
